Hi everyone my name is Megan. I am a 50 years old with severe tourette's syndrome. T.S is a chronic neurological condition that starts in childhood. I was bullied real bad in elementary/ middle school. This condition has nothing to do with intelligence or poor parenting. Motor & vocal tics are involuntary & difficult to control. Tics range from facial tics, head & shoulder jerking to more complex tics like repeating phrases which are loud & disruptive. Unfortunately other conditions come with it like ADHD,OCD,AUTISM  DEPRESSION, ANXIETY & SUBSTANCE ABUSE DISORDER.I  have been trying for disability since 2007!!!? Both my parents died during covid, and I'm so scared & alone. I have a lawyer, have had hearings to be denied. I have done permanent damage to my  shoulders & headaches from jerking so hard. It's frankly exhausting. My insurance was dropped & I'm not eligible for the tax credit next year. It's honestly terrifying. The only money that I can make up is baking for my neighbors..
