Hello, 

My name is Francine. I've recently been diagnosed with ITP  (Immune Thrombocytopenia Purpura). It is a rare blood disease which makes your immune system attack and destroy your own blood platelets. Your blood platelets are needed to keep you from bleeding out when you are injured. I've unfortunately have not been able to work do to the symptoms of this condition, such as dizziness, fatigue, blurred vision, bruising, headaches and feeling like I'm going to faint. This disease does not allow me to do the simplest, everyday  task like showering , walking, cooking , cleaning, driving, shopping, and just enjoying being with friends or family. 

iTP can at times can effect a person for their whole life, while others are able to go into remission without any further flare up. I unfortunately have not been able to find the right treatment to help me get back to a normal life. That is why I am asking for financial assistance. Without it, I will not be able to see the Hematologist/Oncologist for follow up appointments to find a treatment that works for me to get me back on my feet again. I have been in and out of the hospital since July of this year and have been unable to work. I am only asking for temporary assistance for the first  two months of treatment. I am hopeful that I can get a job and continue to pay my own way from there and get the treatment I need to become self sufficient again. Please find it in your hearts to assist me in finding the right treatment to get me back on my feet. Any and every little bit helps.
