This is our granddaughter, Addysan. On June 29th, 2026, she was rushed to Children's Hospital where an infection had gotten into her shunt. If you knew this family you would know they never ask for help, but they need it now! Addy has suffered most of her life and fought for every experience that she has been able to have. She has hydrocephalus, or an excess of fluid on the brain. Thank God and all the many prayers that it did not get past the valve. Then she went into a coma for 3 days. We do not have an idea of how long Addy will be here, it all depends on if the next surgery is successful and she stabilizes. We are positive that her and the family’s faith of God’s power of healing, she will come out of this round of surgeries better than ever. There are not words for the blessings we have received from God, and all that have helped and prayed for Addy’s heath, it is truly amazing how much love there is for this amazing person.

Like I had said before, the family has never asked for help, they have always gotten by, God has always provided. This unexpected turn in Addy’s health would put a strain on anyone’s finances and it is just our guess what the family’s portion would be of these expenses, especially since both parents, John and Josie, are there.
