Acerca de esta recaudación

If you've ever received a tattoo created with Eternal Ink, there's a chance Gabriel's work is part of your story.

For more than eight years, Gabriel worked behind the scenes at Eternal Ink and dedicated himself to becoming the sole and Head Pigment Mixologist at Eternal Ink, dedicating himself to the science, precision, and artistry behind the pigments used by tattoo artists around the world. While many people may not know his name, his work has become part of countless people's lives, memories, and personal stories.

Check out more about Gabriel's Career and Story from him

Gabriel has spent years supporting the tattoo community quietly from behind the scenes. He is a dear friend, a loyal partner, a kind human, and found his way from being the son of a tattoo artist and to carving an impressive career and leaving an undeniable standard and tough to follow mark on the tattoo industry. Today, I am asking that same community—and anyone who believes people deserve support during life-changing circumstances—to help support him.

Gabriel's Story

Gabriel's life changed dramatically after suffering a traumatic frontal lobe brain injury from a fall at home in June 2025. The injury has resulted in cognitive, neurological, and traumatic stress challenges that have changed how he navigates everyday life.

After eight years of building his career, Gabriel lost the job he loved and the stability that came with it in early Spring 2026. Since then, he has been working tirelessly to rebuild: navigating medical care, applying for disability benefits and government assistance, learning new skills, searching for employment, and working DoorDash to keep himself afloat. His new goal within the industry is to build beautiful artisan craft tattoo machines and learn the art of tattooing under the guidance of the workhorses and grassroots independent industry professionals who have shown him that his love and passion for the tattoo community is still well within his ability to stay a crucial part of the industry's success and desire to work in supporting non-corporatized tattoo businesses.

Gabriel is still the same thoughtful, hardworking, generous person he has always been. His injury did not take away his compassion, creativity, or desire to contribute—it created new challenges that require time, support, and stability to manage.

Right now, he is facing one of the biggest barriers to recovery: housing insecurity.

Immediate Need: Housing & Stability Support

Because Gabriel is currently facing eviction proceedings, we are seeking to secure housing support and raise funds within the next 10–30 days.

Stable housing would give Gabriel the foundation he needs to:

-Continue medical treatment and rehabilitation
-Attend appointments and access to resources
-Pursue disability and assistance programs
-Continue working while rebuilding his career path
-Focus on recovery rather than immediate survival

A major priority is keeping Gabriel together with his three beloved companions:

- A sweet 10-year-old sassy lil munchkin cat named Tina
- A 2-year-old one-eyed goober cat named Rorschach
- A 6-year-old queen and now essentially his Service Pup in waiting (for official certifications) named Xena

They have been a constant source of comfort, stability, and companionship throughout this journey, and keeping them together is incredibly important.

Housing We're Looking For

We are looking for any safe, stable housing opportunity that can accommodate Gabriel and his pets.

Ideal options include:

Private room in a shared home: $300–600/month
Studio or one-bedroom apartment: $700–1,000/month

A pet-friendly space with flexibility around credit requirements would be incredibly helpful given the financial challenges created by his medical situation.

He is actively seeking consistent employment opportunities while continuing to learn new skills and adapt to life after his injury.

Fundraiser Goal: $7,000

We are raising $7,000 to help remove the immediate barriers created by this life-changing injury and give Gabriel the stability needed to continue rebuilding.

-Helping spread the word within your communities

For years, Gabriel helped create something that became part of millions of people's stories. Now, we're asking our community to help create a path forward for him.

This is not about asking someone else to fix his life. Gabriel is already fighting every day to rebuild, adapt, and move forward. This is about providing the stability, resources, and support needed for someone living through a life-changing injury to continue healing and find his footing again.

Thank you for showing up, sharing this, and reminding Gabriel that the community he has supported for so many years is here to support him too.
