Hello,

We are the Rivera family and we are fundraising to raise money for our daughter‘s medical expenses. Our daughter is ten years old. She loves basketball, very happy outgoing, strong, little girl. She has been hospitalized four times.  Once in 2022 and 2024 for Asthma. Just when we recovered from those expenses and found ourselves stable, now, we have been in the hospital in May of 2026 and June of 2026 due to a diagnosis of hydronephrosis of the kidney. In November of 2025, we began experiencing recurring UTI’s with her. Unfortunately, in El Paso there is no pediatric urologist, so we were not able to see  uriologist in El Paso. We have been blessed to travel to Corpus to stay with family while we recieve care with a urologist here. I am an educator, proud, and was raised to never take handouts, always handle your business. Pay your bills, don’t live off government, so this is very hard for me to ask. We worked hard to get out of economic situations before, and we will do so again. Im going to sell barbecue plates for her as well to help with other unseen expenses that may occur. Through this journey, God, has shown me that sometimes it is ok to ask others for help when it’s necessary.  Currently, I have had to go on FMLA for work. My disability insurance will not cover me while I am out on leave to care for my daughter, because I am not the patient. Once, my ten leave of absence days are taken I will be docked pay. With her past hospitalizations my saved days have been depleted. We are grateful for your assistance during this time if you can spare it. Thank you
