Hello my name is Ashley! I suffer from chronic pain known as sickle cell, lupus, and fibromyalgia. Due to the Sickle Cell, I have developed Avascular Necrosis in both hips, which is causing me to need two hip replacement. Usually I try to be strong, but as one person with so much to deal with I find it hard to cope. I can't keep with with my normal. My 11 year old daughter thinks I'm super woman, but I secretly cry when she's out of eye sight. I wish I could keep up, but I can't. I can't do it all and I understand that. My amount of medication I take daily to gain some type of normalcy is debilitating financially and mentally. Part of staying healthy is being stress free, but that's very hard at the moment. I just pray that you have it in your heart to assist my family and I as I continue to fight because God is not through with me yet. Just keep in mind that, any left over funds will go towards another warrior, just like me. Please remember to get yourself tested for Sickle Cell, Lupus, or Fibromyalgia!
