Jennifer is starting this fundraiser for Dallas, her boyfriend and the father of their baby. What should have been a normal moment of playing with his kids turned into a painful accident when Dallas tried to catch his oldest child after they fell from his back. As he turned to grab them, he slipped off a curb and broke his ankle in three places. He is in tremendous pain and is currently awaiting surgery for his ankle. This happened at the worst possible time. Jennifer is supposed to move to Michigan on November 14, and their baby is due on November 24. Dallas was supposed to drive to Michigan with their belongings and their full-grown pitbull, but now he can no longer drive and is mostly bedridden. On top of the injury, Dallas is unable to work until further notice, leaving their household down to one income and facing so much uncertainty all at once. Jennifer is also heartbroken and worried that Dallas may miss the birth of their child. 

The support from this fundraiser will help cover the everyday costs that continue while Dallas recovers and cannot work, including food, gas, rent, bills, and dog food. It will also help with the urgent logistics of getting their family to Michigan, including transportation for their dog and a flight ticket for Dallas. Because these needs will keep coming while income is limited, recurring donations would give Jennifer and Dallas steadier support as they manage recovery, the move, and the arrival of their baby.
