À propos de cette collecte de fonds

For the past three years, Jayden has struggled with severe headaches that have impacted nearly every part of his childhood. What started as occasional pain became frequent episodes lasting for hours, often leaving him nauseated, exhausted, and unable to participate in school, sports, and the activities he loves. There were even times when his symptoms were serious enough to lead to visits to the emergency room.

After seeing multiple doctors and searching for answers, Jayden was finally diagnosed with a eye convergence disorder. This means that his eyes have to work much harder than they should to pull together and focus, especially when reading or doing close-up work. The constant strain can trigger intense headaches, nausea, fatigue, and difficulty concentrating.

The good news is that vision therapy helps people with this issue. Jayden has begun a six-month treatment program that includes weekly therapy appointments and daily exercises at home. His doctors are optimistic that this specialized therapy will reduce his symptoms and allow him to return to being the happy, active 8-year-old he deserves to be.

Unfortunately, vision therapy is expensive and is not covered by insurance or Medicaid. His treatment is estimated to last six months, with therapy costs at $900 per month, in addition to the testing expenses. We are raising funds to help cover these costs so that finances do not stand in the way of Jayden's recovery.

In addition to donations, his mom and grandma are professional designers and are offering unique handmade items for sale as part of this fundraiser. Every purchase and contribution will go toward helping Jayden complete his vision therapy treatment. Whether you choose to donate, shop, or simply share Jayden's story, your support will help give him the opportunity to return to school, play, and enjoy life without the burden of constant headaches and pain.

Thank you for helping Jayden move toward a brighter, healthier, and headache-free future.
