hello! i’m autumn, and i have ehlers-danlos syndrome. last year i was laid off from my job and lost my housing and income. 

i started working retail and moved in with friends, but in the process of moving i fully dislocated my right shoulder. two months later, i did it again! and two months after that, i did it AGAIN. the shoulder now has a torn ligament and a brachial plexus injury, which is excruciatingly painful, and the extent of the nerve involvement puts me at risk of paralysis in my dominant arm. i’m still in the initial phase of scans and doctors and evaluation for surgery  

i’m out of work for a while, and i am applying for government assistance. however, bills and expenses are a big stressor during this time.
