My name is Rosalyn Smith and I am a 34 year old single mother. I have severe mitral valve disease, congestive heart failure, diabetes, and high blood pressure. I am in need of a surgery to remove some excess belly fat in order to perform a valve replacement on two severely damaged valves of the heart. This surgery is needed to allow me to continue to work for me and my son. I have lost both parents to heart attacks and now I am afraid with the more recent hospitalizations it is becoming more possible. I will unfortunately be out of work for two months to recover and in that time I will not be able to pay bills or groceries. I have no family that I can get help from and don’t want to be homeless with my son being so young. I appreciate and God bless anyone who can help with any amount.
