Hello, 

My name is Francine. I've recently been diagnosed with ITP  (Immune Thrombocytopenia Purpura). It is a rare blood disease which makes my immune system attack and destroy my blood platelets in error. Blood platelets are what makes the blood clot when you get cut or bruised, otherwise I could bleed to death. I've unfortunately have not been able to work do to the symptoms of this condition, such as dizziness, fatigue, blurred vision, bruising, headaches and feeling like I'm going to faint. There is no cure or defined cause of ITP. Everyone who has this disease if affected differently and is diagnosed at different ages. This is a very unpredictable disease. You never know how your day is going to go.

iTP can at times can effect a person for their whole life, while others are able to go into remission without any further flare up. I unfortunately have not been able to find the right treatment to help me get back to a normal life. 

I am asking for a little assistance to get to my weekly  dr appointments. I live out in the country where there is no public transportation available and taking an Uber, Lyft, or Taxi are really expensive. Especially when I have not been able to work since diagnosed 6 months ago. 

Please find it in your hearts to assist me in finding the right treatment to get me back on my feet. Any and every little bit helps.
