First off I want to say thank you for reading our story.

My husband David is a sweet man who hates to ask for assistance even when he needs it.

In June of 2022 while working my husband had what everyone thought at first was a Stroke. He was rushed to the hospital and spent three days in the ICU. After testing they figured out it was not a stroke but, a hemiplegic migraine which is  a rare type of migraine that causes motor weakness on the left side.

After leaving the hospital and till today David will randomly still have these episodes where one half of his body stops working. He will lose the ability to use his leg and arm plus loses his ability to speak.

We are fighting to get his Disability but, SSI has turned him down twice and we now await a court hearing to fight it.

David's doctors have tried many meds to try and stop the episodes but, so far nothing has kept them away. 

The next step is to do another MRI and Sleep study on his brain which our insurance will only cover so much.

Today we are asking for assistance on covering what insurance will not cover for his MRI and a sleep study.
