Greetings. Like many folks have experienced, this winter was brutally cold and the economy seems to be bleeding so many of us dry. I am recently divorced (husband had an affair) and have incurred some credit card debt in an effort to keep the lights on and house warm. I don't get child support or alimony. I have canceled all subscriptions and my daughters and I live frugally. The credit card interest keeps me up at night and adds a level of stress, on top of the emotional trauma I am currently struggling with, that is becoming harmful to my mental health. I have thrown out all of my credit cards and would like to get back to a space where I can breathe a little lighter. Any amount is appreciated. Thank you.
