Jordyn and Pablo got married in 2019 with full intent to start a family that they both wanted so badly. They both love children and are so good with them. after several years of trying with no success Jordyn went to see a fertility doctor and diagnosed with unexplained infertility (we were told her tubes are enflamed which means the eggs won't pass thru)and had several IUI's done with all of them resulting in negative tests and broken hearts and spirits. They took a break from the fertility treatments until 2023 which they decided to try again with a new fertility clinic and started IVF, after several rounds of shots upon shots and medication and money (oh lots of money), the medication alone costs around 8000.00 out of pocket as insurance only pays for some medications. They did several egg retrievals and only would get 2-3 eggs each time that were big enough and none of them made it past day 3. After the final round of egg retrieval Jordyn had an appointment with her doctor who informed her that her eggs were like a 40 year old and their best bet would be to get a donor egg or adopt. Jordyn wants so badly to experience the whole process of pregnancy and should be able to have that opportunity. Now with that being said this process has been mentally draining on everyone. Every negative test and every call saying the eggs didn't make it is just taxing on them. Daily she is trying to stay positive which is hard some days. We have looked into donor eggs and adoption as both cost a great deal, her first choice would be egg donation so she can carry a baby on her own. The cost for 6-8 eggs is roughly 18,000 plus she would still have to go back on medication and shots to prepare her body for the egg transfer. We are asking anyone who is willing to help these 2 who want a baby so badly with any donation which would be greatly appreciated cause we are not sure when they would be able to get an egg donor as they are still paying off the last several rounds of IVF.
