Josh and Courtney have had multiple tragedies in the last few months. Courtney was in a car wreck and broke her neck, upper and lower back, as well as, her right arm. She sustained a huge scalp laceration that took 21 staples to close. She spent 5 days in ICU with, her husband Josh by her side. She was released from the hospital only to have their home burn to the ground a few weeks later. They barely got out alive. The night after the fire, Courtney was crushed between 2 vehicles when a drunk driver wrecked into them. She had to be airlifted to Plano. She was in critical condition with a shattered pelvis, dislocated hip, broken femur, ruptured bladder, and bone fragments causing internal bleeding. After 7 weeks in the hospital, she is still in a wheelchair with very limited walker use. While she gets stronger every day, this will forever change life for Josh and Courtney. They have lost everything but have managing to cling to each other. Their faith in God and His purpose for them has kept them strong. They are reluctant to ask others for help, not wanting anyone else to feel the strain of not having enough, but they are without a home, vehicle, and being unable to work, Courtney and Josh are desperate to put their lives and home back together. They need any and everything that could be donated. Medical bills and proscription cost are adding up and there are more to come.
