On February 26, 2023 I was drugged, raped, and assaulted. This horrible act resulted in a full-thickness tear of my left rotator cuff, post-concussion syndrome with visual disturbance, and PTSD. 

I have been seeing a psychiatrist and therapist since it happened. Both doctors agree that a service dog would be very beneficial. I found a couple organizations that would provide a service dog, but the average wait is 2 years.

The cost to adopt is $2,000 to help cover some of the cost of her training and vet bills. I added another $1,000 for travel costs plus hotel. I also plan to work with a trainer when I get her to help us get a good start.
