I am fundraising for my younger sister who lives in an assisted living facility due to a diagnosis of schitzophrenia. Our father passed away recently and our mother suffers from dementia. She does receive government assistance but it is not enough to cover her monthly rent. We are hoping for $18,000 to help pay her housing rent for the year. Your support would mean so much to my family. We are a family of public school teachers--Our parents and myself. All 3 of us taught for more than 30 years each. I never want my younger sister to feel like a burden so, any financial assistance towards her monthly rent payment would be a blessing.
