About this fundraiser

Hi everyone, I’m fundraising for my sweet 8-year-old mini goldendoodle, Wyatt. This past weekend, Wyatt suffered a spinal cord injury and was diagnosed with IVDD, which has left him paralyzed from the waist down. He has no control over his back legs and limited control of his bodily functions, and now he needs constant care and specialized medical treatment. Despite everything he is going through, he is still the same loving, gentle boy who has been here for everyone.

Wyatt urgently needs an MRI, which can cost up to $5,000, to determine the full extent of the injury. On top of that, he will need ongoing vet visits, medications, physical therapy, hydrotherapy, and rehabilitation to support his recovery. Finally, the recommended spinal surgery, is expected to cost up to $10,000. The recovery process is long, intensive, and extremely costly.

Wyatt is truly my heart and the sweetest companion our family could ask for. Seeing him in this much pain has been devastating, but we’re holding onto hope because dogs with IVDD can recover with timely treatment, and he deserves every chance to walk, play, and be comfortable again. Any amount, no matter how much, helps get us closer to giving him the care he needs. If you’re unable to donate, simply sharing his story means just as much.

Thank you so much for taking the time to read about our Wyatt and for your support.
