Keeley's epileptic battle began on January 1st of 2020, with a 22 minute long seizure. From that day on we've gone through multiple tests and at this point we are on her fifth medication that has failed to work. She has now been classified as drug resistant epileptic. The only course of action at this point is some kind of surgical procedure. Be it the resection surgery or some kind of implant of a pacemaker like device for epilepsy. The workup and testing to lead to these surgeries can take weeks to months and we're going to have to do them at U of M children's hospital which is way away from our home.  We are fundraising to help cover  the cost of the medical procedures and anytime that I have to take off of work.
