In January of 2023 our family was rocked with terrible news. Our sweet, strong, and kind momma, wife, and friend, Kelly, was diagnosed with Stage 3 Colon Cancer.

Being the strongest woman I know, she said NO WAY and was ready to kick cancer to the curb! She currently travels to the Moffit Cancer Center in Tampa for her Chemo and Radiation treatments. 
She's on the list to get into the Hope Lodge at Moffitt but unfortunately there is not a space until MAYBE the second week in April.  Fingers crossed!

Her chemo and radiation treatments are 5 days a week, for 5 weeks which is lots of time and travel. Since she is not able to stay at the Hope Lodge just yet, her and my Dad, or my sister and I, will be staying in a hotel in Tampa 5 days a week, and commuting back and forth.

After the initial 5 weeks, she will continue to travel to Moffitt every other week for additional Chemo treatments until about November 2023.

Any funds raised will help with lodging, food, travel, and any other expenses. We are so thankful and appreciate to have a loving and supportive family, friends, and community in this time.

Any remaining funds will be donated to The Salt River Wild Horse Management Group, they monitor and document the Salt River wild horses, fight for their permanent protection,  rescue suffering horses when needed, and make safety improvements to their habitat.
