I have kidney disease, and my kidneys have stopped working. My doctors want me to consider getting a kidney transplant, which will give me my best chance of living a long time. It would also give me more freedom and energy.

In 2004, after months of deteriorating health, I was diagnosis with Lupus Nephritis (a kidney disorder which is a complication of Lupus).  As the months and years went by my kidneys has become severely damaged and is not filtering the waste and extra fluid from my blood as well as they should.  Recently, I have had to start dialysis; I am doing Peritoneal dialysis now at home overnight. I hook up every night to the cycler machine for nine hours as I sleep. I am currently on the kidney transplant waiting list.

I am doing a fuhd raiser to help cut the cost for a Kidney Transplant. This cost includes the cost of surgery and the cost of medicines I will need to take for the rest of my life.
