Hi my name is lisa I'm married to Larry we have 3 adult kids and 6 wonderful grandloves. Larry was recently laid off we were doing ok with unemployment. We went to eye doctor thinking he needed glasses the exam turned into needing an mri.a brain tumor was found.he will be needing 2 operations. One going through the nose  the big one is opening the skull.the tumor has caused him to go blind.once removed he still won't get eyesight back .he will go on disability  but it takes 6 to 8 months. He was the main breadwinner in the family. I have a car payment to keep up ,insurance for car and house and utilities. He won't get unemployment since he can't work. I can get a job after his recovery but until then we have no income coming in .our children live an hour away so it's me as his main caregiver. To not have to worry about how I'm going to pay for just the basics would take so much stress off of me so I can concentrate on Larry getting through the surgeries.
