My name is Ashlee Mathis, a.k.a. Kateria, and I am the mother of a beautiful 2‑year‑old little girl named Zareeyah. I am reaching out with a humble request for help as I work to bring my daughter safely back into my custody. At this time, Zareeyah is in the care of her father, who is currently facing serious criminal firearm charges and is expected to serve prison time soon. This situation has created an unstable and unsafe environment for her, and I am urgently trying to secure proper legal help so that custody orders can be reviewed and expedited in her best interest.To protect my daughter and ensure her needs are put first, I need to retain an experienced family law attorney, as well as a criminal law attorney on my side, as soon as possible. The legal fees to get started are 1,500 dollars, which must be paid up front before the lawyer can file the necessary motions and represent me in court. Unfortunately, I do not have the resources to cover this on my own, and time is critical.I have created this Give A Hand account to ask for support from my community, family, and friends.
