The funds will be used to help buy my mom's meds after her heart transplant. To say she is deserving is a understatement. In 2019 September 1st she had a massive heart attack that destroyed her heart she was transported to Gallatin TN hospital where she stopped breathing and her heart stopped she was revived and put on life support and sent on to centennial hospital where she was rushed in to surgery she went through 3 open heart surgery, so many surgery to stop gi bleeds I can't count and 19 blood transfusions the doctors had given up and gave it to God. Moma couldn't talk but could write on paper and she would write I want to live at all cost. The doctors tried to get her to allow hospice to come in she refused she started fighting and finally got strong enough for a ecmo then the lvad she started getting up walking going against all odds finally getting able to come home almost 5 months later. Finally got to the point she could start the process off working towards transplant we went to Vanderbilt started the rehab got it all going only for her to have a massive stroke back to centennial and back on the vent a massive set back so now she is on a lvad with a dead heart with a massive stroke almost blind with severe memory loss still striving to move on fixing to start cardiac rehab again Vanderbilt told use to start fundraising for the transplant. My mom devoted her life to taking care of others in the nursing field took care of her own mother with the lvad gives to the world loves with her whole heart never meets a stranger and always the one who was used, abused and treated like dirt. If God ever made a woman with a pure soul she is it and she deserves this heart and a chance to finally live her life. I'm her daughter her caregiver and I'd give her my heart if she would take it but she won't so I ask to please donate to help my mom get this heart she so much deserves.
