I started running again for my niece, Charli.
Three weeks ago, Charli was diagnosed with Papillary Thyroid Cancer. She’s only 14. But despite everything, she keeps showing up.
Charli is fierce, determined, and impossibly optimistic. She tackles every challenge, whether it’s on the track or in treatment, with a mindset most adults would admire. She doesn’t see failure—she sees growth. And that’s why I run. I want to be more like her. I want to show up for her, like she shows up for life.
Charli and her incredible family are facing a long road ahead—medically, emotionally, and financially. If you can show up for them in any way—whether it’s with a donation, a share, doing a handstand, or running a mile—it will help with the hurdles and give them the stamina to stay in the race.
If you run, run for Charli.
If you face hurdles, face them like Charli.
Let’s walk—and run—this road alongside her.
