Monica, has been fighting cancer for a year now. She is a strong woman and that does not even begin to describe the battle she has and continues to face. It started out with dizzspells and took six months of seizures and her passing out before we got a diagnosis. The long process of doctor visits and test and treatments began. For the first three months we were able to balance our four young children, work, and the home but things changed quickly and dramatically when I lost my job. Between helping my wife and the kids I used all my time off up for work before they released me.Around that time our youngest son Edson had appendicitis and was rushed to the hospital for surgery. As I followed the ambulance I found myself yelling and screaming in the car for help as if someone could hear me. My wife had taken a turn for the worse at this point and things just looked so dark. As the father I felt as if I was not failing my roke as we started to take from our life savings to stay afloat. Three days later my son was released from the hospital and we were able to go back home and things were calm for now. When the medical bills for my son begin to come in that's when I realized we had lost our insurance and had no way to pay the medical expenses. At this point in our life we have our children and are staying in a motel because we have lost our house due to expenses. We are struggling to stay afloat. We cannot afford the motel and are only here because people like you have help us and continue to help us. My wife needs proper treatment and a comfortable place to rest. I am working part time to have a bit of income but it is just not enough. We are strong people and I believe m wife will overcome this battle. My children encourage her and they push me forward and the moto for our household has become keep fighting and don't give up!!! I've have learned humility in this place in my life in the manner it's ok to receive and ask for help, so I am asking for help if you would be willing to help our family to keep fighting and don't not give up.
