Help My Sister Get Back on the Road and Start Fresh ❤️

I’m creating this fundraiser for my sister, who was recently in a car accident that has turned her life upside down. Her car was her only vehicle and her only source of transportation. Now, she’s left trying to figure out how to move forward without it.

My sister is a hard worker who has been trying so hard to get ahead in life. She’s worked hard to get where she is today, and it feels like every time she gets close to taking the next step, something happens that pushes her back. Despite the challenges she’s faced, she continues to try, and she deserves the opportunity to catch a break.

Before this accident, she was making plans to move into her own place, start a new job, and take another step toward building a better future for herself. She was excited to move closer to family, begin working with me, and finally start this next chapter of her life. Unfortunately, those plans have been put on hold because she now has no transportation and is facing unexpected expenses she simply wasn’t prepared for.

Her 2005 Honda Accord needs front-end work and may need a new radiator as well. We’re currently waiting to have the car properly diagnosed so we can understand the full extent of the damage and what it will cost to repair.

Unfortunately, insurance will not cover the damage because the policy is in the name of a friend’s parent, whom she was purchasing the car from and paying off. Since she had not yet been added to the insurance policy as a listed driver, we’ve been told the damage will not be covered. This leaves her facing the full cost of repairs on her own, at a time when she simply doesn’t have the financial means to do so.

The money raised will go toward diagnosing and repairing her car, covering transportation and other necessary living expenses while she works through this setback, and helping her stay afloat until she can get back on her feet and continue with her plans to move.

I know times are hard for everyone, and I’m not expecting anyone to give what they can’t afford. If you’re able to donate, any amount, no matter how small, would mean so much to her. If you can’t donate, sharing this fundraiser would be just as appreciated.

My sister isn’t asking for everything to be handed to her. She’s a hardworking person who has been trying so hard to build a better life for herself. She has plans, goals, and a future she’s been working toward, and right now, she just needs a little help getting past this unexpected setback.

Sometimes a little help at the right time can make all the difference. Our hope is to get her back on the road, help her get back to work, and give her the chance to continue moving forward with the life she’s been working so hard to build.
