Hi, my name is Candice Roberson.

In 2023, I underwent spinal surgery to remove a tumor that was growing on my spine. While the surgery was necessary, it changed my life in ways I never imagined. As a result of the procedure, I am now paralyzed from the waist down and unable to walk.

Before this happened, I worked in a physically demanding job and supported myself independently. Because of my paralysis, I have not been able to return to work. Adjusting to this new reality has been physically, emotionally, and financially overwhelming.

Medical bills, therapy expenses, rehabilitation costs, and everyday living expenses have continued to pile up. Ongoing physical therapy is critical for my health and independence, but it comes with significant costs. At the same time, basic bills such as my mortgage, utilities, transportation, and medical supplies still have to be paid.

I am asking for help during this incredibly difficult season of my life. Your donation will go directly toward:
• Ongoing physical therapy and rehabilitation
• Medical expenses and supplies
• Monthly mortgage and household bills
• Transportation to medical appointments

This journey has not been easy, but I am determined to keep pushing forward and regain as much independence as possible. Any amount — big or small — makes a difference and brings me one step closer to stability and recovery.
