Hello everyone,   

I am reaching out for help during a very difficult time in my life.   For years, I have been dealing with serious health challenges, and living in Maine has become increasingly difficult. The harsh winters and extreme cold take a heavy toll on my body. Because of poor circulation and the effects of the cold, I have lost five toes. I also have Stage 4 kidney disease and only one kidney. My body struggles to filter toxins properly, which affects my memory and often leaves me feeling fatigued and mentally foggy.   After a great deal of thought and discussion with my doctors and loved ones, I have decided that relocating to North Carolina would give me the best chance to improve my health and quality of life. The warmer climate would be much easier on my body, and being closer to better medical resources and support would make managing my health far more manageable.   Another important reason for this move is family. My daughter and her family live in North Carolina, and I want to spend as much time with them as possible. With my health challenges and Stage 4 kidney disease, I don't know what the future holds, and being near the people I love most means everything to me.   Unfortunately, moving is expensive, and living on disability has left me with very limited financial resources. I am asking for help covering relocation costs, including transportation, U-Haul rental expenses, rental deposits, first month's rent, utility setup fees, and other essential moving expenses. As anyone who has moved knows, unexpected costs often arise along the way.   Asking for help has never been easy for me. Those who know me understand that I am usually the person trying to help others. But I have reached a point where I cannot make this move on my own.
