I have been sick and bed bound for 4 months. Been in and out hospital for testing. Still no definitive answers. Having fevers every day and weakness etc this has caused me to go through what I had in savings and now am behind 1.5 months in mortgage this doesn’t include power and phone that I am behind on too. 
my next medical need is a biopsy on my lymph nodes (waiting on them to get that scheduled) because the dr is concerned that my non Hodgkin’s lymphoma may be increasing in size (I had treatments 7 years ago and was told that it wasn’t growing then so I had hoped to live a full life) I worked through almost 2 years of the treatment full time and had been working full time since then until I started blacking out and having memory issues etc and could no longer work. 
I did fill out an application for disability 2 weeks ago when I had to admit I’m having issues, but I haven’t heard a word yet and am told by my dr is that it takes along time to hear anything. 
so here I am desperate and reaching out to anyone for assistance. I don’t want to be homeless and sick at the same time. 
Usually, I am on the other side of this and have always done what I could to help others whether it was food, clothing, a ride or donation. So this is truly killing my dignity
