My 6-month-old Lab/Pit mix puppy is currently being treated for painful corneal eye ulcers, a serious condition that can lead to permanent vision loss if not properly managed.
He is under veterinary care and on medication, but the vet has also warned that he may need entropion correction surgery if his eyelids continue to roll inward and his eyelashes keep scraping his eye. This surgery would prevent ongoing pain, repeated ulcers, and long-term damage to his vision.
Before coming into my care, he endured abuse and a difficult early puppyhood. Since then, he has been deeply loved, protected, and treated as family. I am doing everything possible to get him the care he needs, but I am facing financial hardship and need help covering:
Remaining veterinary costs
Follow-up exams
Eye medications
Possible corrective eyelid surgery
